And thank you for anyone coming in to tell me faster memory isnt worth it. I've seen the reviews and heard all the arguments but i just like to run the faster stuff. It's fairly cheap these days.
Ehhhhhhhh I wouldn't bother trying to OC those. You are going to reduce your latency and increase your voltages which is going to screw up any CPU OC you already have.
Quite frankly ram speed means a lot. It can give you a serious performance boost...........if you can keep those timings down. If your memory latency is too high, you are simply getting a trade off and you get about the same performance as 1600mhz memory at 9-9-9-24. If that dominator memory was running at 1.5v then you could bump it up to 1.65 and go for 10-10-10-30 and you would probably see a bit of performance out of it. But since you are already at 1.65 it doesn't leave you much room to play with the voltages.
I would suggest something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233285
. That way you could increase the voltage and try to bring those timings down to 9-9-9-24. That way you would actually see a pretty good performance difference in benchmarks.
