I was talking about the Mbps side (Megabits per second) you are thinking in terms of MB/s (Megabytes per second). -- To clear any confusion you may have: 1 Byte refers to 8 bits, therefore 8Mbps (We will call this Upload) would be roughly equal to 1 MB/s (the number you see when you are uploading).
1MB/s = 1000KB/s = 8Mbps = 8000kbps
In other words, since you are said to have a 15 Mbps upload, 2MB/s up is about right, give or take a few KB/s (MB/s)
In my opinion, I think downloads and uploads that are measured in your browser or through download/upload clients should be shown as Mb (Megabits) and kb (Kilobits) rather than MB (Megabytes) and KB (Kilobytes), or ISPs should provide a conversion chart telling customers the differences they will see in numbers, just to clear misunderstandings between ISPs and their customers.

It's also possible to stream at 1080p@60, if the processor can handle it.
