Getting tired of my retarded Infuse.

Thread Starter
I have the Samsung Infuse 4g and I'm tired of it being a complete and utter retard no matter what ROM I use.

Anyway, looking to upgrade.

Wondering what I should get. If I should even stay with android. Really all I do on my phone anymore is text (typing is like the #1 thing I use my phone for, in various apps), read stuff like reddit, watch the occasional movie, and play music (2nd biggest, but I don't care too much about the quality). I don't really play games much anymore. I guess I grew out of it.
That said... I loved my Zune until I got an android phone. Is a windows phone appropriate for me?

Anyway, what should I get?

Personally I think you should stay on Android it seems like the best OS available for your usage (plus, you could of possibly invested money into the Play Store so stick with it) Here are some things to keep in mind.
1) Typing: Android allows a variety of keyboards; whereas, iOS only has one. I am unsure about Windows Store. SwiftKey X is the most popular virtual keyboard for phones and I love it. SwiftKey X has amazing AI prediction.
2) Reading stuff, movies: you definitely want a bigger screen for this.
3) Music.. neutral stand.

Some phone suggestions:
Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Note II, the upcoming Nexus (when it gets officially announced), HTC One X+, LG Optimus G

If you care about updates and want to be using Android, stick with Nexus devices (GSM) as they're going to be updated asap.

Best buy has the SGS III today for $100. I kinda wanna go.

Also AT&T doesn't sell any Nexus devices and I can't afford off-contract purchases right now.

Off-contracted Galaxy Nexus is $349.00. It's not that expensive when compared to other devices, if you were looking to go the Nexus route, I'd recommend waiting for the announcement of the next Nexus as it can bring the Galaxy Nexus price down (or you can get the new one, depending on its pricing)

The S3 at $100 seems like a pretty good price though. Can't go wrong.
