This is for most people that have standard definition tv's and some with high definition. if you look in your options either in game or out you will see the options choice. click on it and choose audio/video settings. In there you should see display settings or video settings. If you have not touched it, it should say default. move it over once to the left and it should be on vibrant. once chosen make sure to click a not b then after you click a click b and exit out of the options settings. Once this is done you should notice that the game looks much sharper and colorful. If you enjoy this you can keep it if not change it to lucid or the other settings to see which one u like. also soft. Thx for reading this and I hope you enjoy!

Interesting...what other options are there other than Vibrant and Lucid, and what does Lucid do. I did notice in some areas it was a little dark and I couldn't see anything other than the muzzle light when firing.
I'll try it out when I get home

Depending on yor set and how its calibrated one will always look better. There is default, soft, lucid, vibrant. I use vibrant on my RPLCD that was calibrated with Avia and The NHL 07 pattern. Looks good to me but a lot of others use default.

I put it on Vibrant, it really helped on my Toshiba Tube HDTV. Before the color was kinda washed out a bit and sometimes was very dark. It really lightened up everything and made it more.. well... vibrant.
