Crossover 30Q5 Pro Monitor Club~ - Page 15

looking forward to the video review and some input lag impressions!! thumb.gif

if you can try, it would be also very nice to know if there is any possibility to connect a tablet/smartphone (or BDplayer or anything) using HDMI to DVI adapter!

I have a TV. LG LD550 42". It has a huge input lag. Very noticeable.
I think I don't see any input lag on 30q5. May be it is so small that it's too hard to notice.

Somewhere it's written that this monitor can't be used with an adapters. I think that it is possible only if your player supports Dual-DVI itself. It's hard to tell whether they exist or not.

No dead/light pixels at all.
Monitor appeared to be bigger that I ever imagined it.
Body of the monitor is whole made of steel.
Color is perfect.
Much more details can be seen in games such as Skyrim compared with 24 inch 1080p monitor.

"-"
It's heavy and almost impossible to transport it from one city to another on your own hands (16,5 kg box).
Stand doesn't hold monitor in highest position (weak spring?). And I don't understand how to fix it.
Normal brightness not to burn your eyes is the lowest that can be set.

I will post some photos and videos of my 30q5.

There is a little pin that allows you to affix the monitor to whatever height you want (I think). Mine for one has no trouble staying all the way up

There is nowhere to twist this little pin when the monitor in the position except lowest. I think that it is a transportation pin. There was a round label that shown that it's needed to screw it off in order to raise the monitor up. There was nothing about fixing it in some height positions.

From your words you don't use this pin to fix the position of the monitor. So I think that monitor stand is defective. I wrote seller about this yesterday. But no answer yet.

Seller: "accessorieswhole".

Yeah you are right (hence why I added that "I think" when I originally wrote that post.) Odd that the pin only holds it in the lowest position. Best of luck getting your situation resolved.

I've uploaded video with the problem that I told about.

Seller answered a day before yesterday and asked me to send him a video with the problem.

Just got my 30q pro today, and i got to say, DAMN this is one big monitor, i should have bought the 27" biggrin.gif

The quality is great, 1 dead pixel low and to the right, not visible at normal viewing distance. Sapphire radeon 5850 extreme works great.. Got it from ebay seller accessorieswhole, very communicative and responsive to my questions, very pleased.

I have a problem with absent hole in the highest position that prevents to fix monitor. Did you try to raise and fix it in some positions?

I have changed the position of the monitor, tilt and swivel with no problems. Bottom bazel's highest position is 17 centimetres from desk, I saw your video, I don't have that problem, the monitor maintains it's position without the screw.

The seller agreed that stand is faulty and offered me refund or replacement. Good seller.
