Does your monitor housing also have 2 extra screws on the back at the right side ? They must have put another stand on it, since mine can't rotate to put from horizontal in vertical position. It is on ebay with pictures and on the crossover website, that this should be possible.

Ohw never mind it doesn't show in the pictures that it is possible with this model, only one the newer model the 3020. But it looks like it has the same stand, the dimensions of the housing and / or the place where the stand is attached must be different. Or else I can't see how that one can rotate and this one can't, it also can't rotate (anymore?) in both directions.

But is it possible to use another stand with this monitor, is that an option ?

The quality is great, 1 dead pixel low and to the right, not visible at normal viewing distance. Sapphire radeon 5850 extreme works great.. Got it from ebay seller accessorieswhole, very communicative and responsive to my questions, very pleased.

Hey there. So this works with your Radeon HD 5850? According to some of the ebay listings, the monitor is "not compatible" with the HD 5850 or HD 5970. I am running those graphics cards and was ready to pull the plug on purchasing, but not sure what to expect. Do you see the BIOS on bootup? Also, what happens if you run a game that does not support the native resolution? Like an older game that can only run at 1920x1200 max resolution. There is no scaling built in?
Cheers

Is $535 a good price for this monitor?
I think that you couldn't find it cheaper.

Your gpu should do the scaling.
My zr30w also has no scaler and i haven't had any problems with older games.

Your video card will do the scaling. In the preferences for the card, just make sure the scaling option is chosen. The video card is a better place to do scaling anyway.

Thanks for the answer!

Also while we are on the subject, anyone with the crossover 30q5, if you I would set up a 16:9 resolution, would the monitor have the black bars or stretch weirdly? Or that can be done via the nvidia control panel (got a gtx680)?
Box was busted and open when it got here but the monitor was well packaged and in perfect condition.

On last picture the monitors are on 1080p resolution. There are black bars.
My shimian looks better but the extra pixels are worth it. I should've turned down the brightness on the 30Q5 before taking the picture because it was on max. Got a stuck pixel to the right but can't really find it unless I try to look for it on a black background.
