I dont see why it wont considering people fold on cpus and gpus for months at a time an the +12 is the hardest hit rail in the psu when doing that.

Nice to know this is possible... I have tossed around the idea of having a fully working pc with the added bonus of a car stereo but often wondered if the psu would be sufficient.

some users with large subs in cars also use caps to store up volts for when the sub hits hard that could work if you used a psu to power it not sure.

Well I was... but only since i would be using low powered speakers that would not make the stereo work all that hard. Guess we will just have to see when i get done digging a few more parts out.
