H100 fan question

Thread Starter
Is it possible to plug the fans on the H100 into an external fan controller? I cba to open my case every single time I want to adjust the fan speed.
Would this work or would the pump/h100 unit go all butthurt because it can't detect any fans?

Please do not answer if you don't know the answer.

Sure can. A lot of people have it setup that way.

the pump doesn't care if the fans are on or not. it just wants to run @ 12v.
so what you do with the fans is strickly your descision.
i wired my SP120 on a 7volt PSU molex and its cooling very well. the OE
fans undervolted as not as quiet. down to 5-volts they are not as quiet as
SP120 performance fans @ 7volts. ive run the SP120 quiets and found
them to be quiet, but not performing as well as needed. even with push/pull.
four SP120 are wickedly quiet @ 7volts.
