xTech 600W Power supply - Page 2

I'd love to post pics, but my dad really wouldn't allow me. And by the way, the system won't take that much power, but I'd rather have a 450W. Plus I don't buy from Newegg. They took my cash then declined my card. At least I got it back. Try posting from Amazon.

If you decide to get the VP450 it's a great budget PSU (Had it super cheap at the Microcenter right near me). I have put them in two client builds with no issues. First build was a FX6100, 8GB Ram, and GTX 550Ti. The other was a Phenom II x4 965BE, 8GB Ram, and a HD 6670. So, they weren't exactly powerhouse builds, but solid none the less.. Couple things to remember though.. It only has 4 SATA power cables and 1 PCIE cable. Also has about 75% efficiency and the cables are not braided except for the 24 Pin connector.. Also this model is manufactured by FSP and not Delta as is the VP350.

It doesn't really matter cause they both have the same amount of power on the 12V, and the Neo ECO 400 gets better efficiency cause it's a much newer design. Plus the VP450 has CapXon caps, those things die so quickly.

So can you recommend a good cheap preferably Antec PSU? 450 watt minimum, 550 max.

That was actually my bad, I was thinking of a different PSU. The VP450 will work fine for you
