Refrigeration for water cooling. - Page 2

Lol you're funny. Yeah I'm sure tis very fun to OC. but since I will be doing work as well as gaming on this PC I didn't want to risk over heating the machine and damaging it.

I wanted to play it safe. Keep the machine as cool as possible so it lasts longer and runs better.
That's why I wanted to go with water cooling. This is the one I was thinking of getting.

Asetek 570LX Liquid Cooling system w/ 240MM Radiator and Dual Fans (Extreme Overclocking Performance + Extreme Silent at 20dBA) (All Venom OC Certified)

This is from cyber power pc. I read one review about it and it seems to be a very nice cooler.
But it only seems to cool the CPU. Not the video cards GPU.

It comes with 2 fans but I was going to get 2 more for a push pull setup.
I'm putting all this in an Azza hurricane 2000 case. It comes with 4 x 230mm fans!
And 3 x 120mm fans as well. I guess that's why it's called a hurricane. Lol

I just wanted to keep this computer safe from over heating. Not for OCIng.

Thanks.
Happy time PC.

If you were interested in going with chilled water, hit up the TEC section! There's some "cool" stuff in there...

There's a million threads about using fridges. A simple search would have answered all of your questions. In the end, it'd work fine if you're willing to buy a new fridge every week. They are not made to constantly keep things cold, especially things that constantly dump out a massive amount of heat. You'll burn it out in no time, it's like leaving the door open except it'll die even faster. If that and all the other pitfalls already mentioned isn't enough to deter you, then make a build log and make sure to take pictures.

Rubbish! this one has been running for over a year with no signs of burning out
