3770k@4.6ghz with H100 decent temps? - Page 4

I didn't check to see the contact when I initially installed it, I also installed it while the motherboard was in the case so it was harder to view, but I want to do it tonight just to make sure. BTW I appreciate all this information. The more I'm learning about the system the easier it is for me to find the information I might be looking for by searching the Forums independently before posting a thread. I'm definitely great full for it.

I have my 3570K @ 1.35v. Get 82C Hottest Core. The CPU should be fine up to 90C.

I have Cool labs liquid pro on the die and the IHS all with Perfect Spreads cause u can do that with Liquid Pro and 3 cores are with in 2-3 c while the core 4 beside the igpu avgs 5=10 c hotter... at idle and 3-5 under load.
The higher amount prolly has to do with the high clocks and voltage and a lower V core it was not so bad. 5- 8 c diff
Interesting read! Now I'm considering delidding. biggrin.gif

Yeah my 3570K is at 4.7GHz at 1.264v with temps reaching the 60s for gaming and mid70s-80s for Prime95 with AVX. Only using a single 240mm for both my CPU and GPU, so you're getting better cooling than I am.

My 4.5GHz needs around 1.16v.

I'm running my 3570k at 4.5Ghz 1.21v and I hit 85C (package temp) max running P95 for 4 hours. I'd like to get my temps down a bit.

Yes indeed thank you! But I don't think I'll have to do that. I'm pretty happy with my outcome right now. I want to push it to 4.6ghz sub 1.30vcore however.

alright so took it to 4.6ghz at 1.275 vcore and here are my 10 minute results

i did re-sit the H100 because there was a small area that was not covered by any paste at all. thursday night im going to let it sit for 12 hours and see if it survives. also, i want to state that i do not have my computer case side panels, i am missing two fans that i can place on the windowed panel and one floor mounted fan as well. i should probably wait until it arrives however to see better results.

Not bad temps / vcore id expect them to be around 5-8c higher after afew hrs of prime 95.

You have h-100 in push/pull?

Hokies83 its push, but im having a hard time with it. The profile button the H100 doesn't seem to do anything at all. I have pretty much all the settings from "Swags" overclock guide, when i push the button it doesn't appear to do anything, the cpu fan is always at 2000+rpm. is there a setting or am i not suppose to connect the H100 module to the motherboard CPU fan connector? in the fan speed monitor window of my bios am i suppose to change anything to allow the H100 to use its profiles?

Im not sure i use my cases fan controller for my fans.

But i think u have to push the button and hold it down and it will beep...

Also replacing the Stock fans with something offering near the same results and doing a push/pull may help u out a bit.. I found the stock fans pretty crappy.
