Rainbow Six: Vegas - Page 2

I played both single player and multiplayer demos and you should definitely download em, both. Single player gives you a good impression of the campaign mode while the multiplayer demo is just a sweet glance at the awesome retail mutliplayer, it's really a lot of fun.

In the multiplayer demo, you get to customize your character a bit, try on like 5 different set of body armors, each broken down in 5 options, body, legs, arms, shoulder and helmet. You also get to chose from 10-12 types of guns, if not more, ranging from pistols, assault riffles, shotguns, light machine guns, ect. If you have Xbox Live, I don't see any good reasons for you to skip on this demo.

So I bought the game on Tuesday when it came out, I think I am about halfway through the Single Player campaign on the lower of the two difficulty levels (realistic will come later) and all I can really say is, freaking amazing, the cover system is perfect, exactly what I was looking for in GRAW but didn't get (not that I don't like GRAW just thought it needed a better cover system). I like how the damage is, I would like it to be more realistic with less hits taking me down, but I am sure that it will be like that on the higher difficulty level, easily the best FPS I have played in a very long time (and yes I have played Gears of War, and pretty much every other FPS you can name, excluding Resistance: Fall of Man, which I hear isn't that good anyway).

Anybody else got this game, I'm kind of itchy to try out that 48 hour subscription to live that came with it this weekend (yes I have never used Live on my 360 or my original XBox, yes I know it is a sin).

Hey man, I got this game and YES it ROCKS ! It is THE game on Xbox live. I will probably get bashed for saying this (I always thought Halo and Halo 2 were overrated by the way) but its hands down the best Xbox live game so far, PERIOD. That includes all the original Xbox games and the Xbox 360.

Anyway, if you cant tell I love this game, it does revive the series. And yes its official, its the greatest thing since sliced bread.

But yeah get Xbox Live Gold NOW, you simply have NOT experienced this game untill you play it multiplayer with people. If you get Gold send me a friend invite on XBL (be sure to leave a voice or text message with the invite telling me who you are). Screen name is "fellfromgrace" By the way I have to work 12 hour shifts untill Friday morning, so if your only going to use the 48 hour thing dont cash it in untill this weekend. I'll be playing alot then and I can show ya the roped and the maps and such if you want/

So I beat this game today, on Normal difficulty level, and no I don't care if nobody else has the game, expect updates on it periodically from me, just because I like it that much. Because that is just how I roll.
