Dell S2440L?

Thread Starter
I've been looking for a good 24" monitor to replace my current one and so far the only one that has really caught my eye was the Dell S2440L. I know it's pretty new but has anyone had any experience with it? Is the screen too glossy to use with lights nearby?

Also, will Dell price match other retailers? Amazon has it for $200 but on the Dell site it's $300. I'd order it from Amazon but I need the extra warranty Dell offers.

Or if there is another 24" monitor that I can get with a pixel guarantee, I'm not dead set on the S2440L.

Call Dell and see if they will give you a deal. A few people here have gotten deals.

You mentioned in your review that there was some burn-in after running PixerPixAn. Is that something that I need be concerned with during regular use?
