Rich Text Editor Compatibility problem

I am not sure if this is the right place to post

But eversince I installed Windows 8, with IE10 or Chrome, it says "The rich text editor is not compatible with your browser. You may see some HTML source displayed. Any BBCode you enter will be converted to HTML when you save."

Is this a Windows 8 related issue? Or is there a workaround?

Thank you

This issue also effects Firefox 17+ on Windows 7. One solution is to use Firefox 16.0.1.

perfect thank you. I do not have the problem anymore with Firefox 16.0.1

Will we be able to use IE10 and chrome with rich text in the future?

Posting in Chrome 22 with the rich text editor on Win 7.

Okay so Chrome 22 works fine - I have the same version as you.  FF 17 isn't an official release yet, so it may not be supported until then.  Same with Win8/IE10.  When they go into full release, the rich text editor will automatically recognize them.

If you're having a problem with Chrome 22 though, let me know.

The problem is gone by installing the official Windows 8 pro

I can use Rich Text with Internet Explorer.

I was able to work around this by changing the user agent to Firefox/Windows 7.
