Hey...?! There's 11.78V on my 12V rail...

Whats up with that?

It's an Antec 500W. It's modular. It powers a x2 3800 on an A8N32-SLI D. Vid is a 7600GT. Both are @ stock at the moment...

What gives?

Thanks for your time.

My 12V rail goes up to like 13.2V sometimes and it hasn't died yet, so no worries

If you used a multimeter to get that number, I would be cautious

If you used the on-board sensors, I'd ignore it

Software lies anyways.

Mine says that it's aat 11.79.

Multimeter says 12.00v no matter what the load is.....so take software readings with a grain of salt.

yea I always asked that question. My Celeron D system before I got AMD 64 2800+ with the same PSU "Forton 350W dual 12v rail". The older system that was overclocked and showed 12.14v on the 12V rails but now my newer system haves 11.98v . I overclocked the Celeron D to 3.36Ghz from 2.6Ghz on Stock voltage. I had the X1600Pro on the Celeron D

My 12V rail is like 12.2V with a multimeter and I'm still here.

That's software, not multimeter.

But still, there's better out there for the money.
