10 DPI of difference is most likely to be out of different mousepads/mousepad material/surface texture and electrical/ilumination tolerancies, so it can be both, but it's hovering around those values for most users smile.gif

Yes, it tracks until 2.7m/s max, which is the reason I can't use it competitively. It's funny how it goes down with higher polling rate, though.

Overall the Savu probably tracks better and has a bit higher control speed, but you have to like the shape. Depends on if you prefer ambidextrous mice or something more ergonomic.

For myself, I liked the Savu performance wise, but did not like the shape. I prefer the Sensei/AM shape more. As far as low sens, it depends on how low you are as to how fast you have to swipe. As noted above the control speed is lower than on some other mice. it's also more picky about surface due to the custom lens that lowers the LOD. You'll probably want to stick to darker uniform pads. It works fine for me on a PT Talent, QCK Heavy, Zowie Speed, and Hayate. Those are all pretty dark pads.

You'd probably also only want to use the 450 and 1150 steps as I think the 2300 step jitters a bit. Not usually a problem if the games you play have in game adjustments.

To me I'd go with a shape you enjoy and go from there. I think too many get hung up on small quirks that you probably wouldn't notice if you didn't scour a forum for enthusiast opinions. Barring major issues of course.

diffrent shell and diffrent overall click-experience (AM as more force into the overall click)

I find the AM clicks to be much more precise than the EC series. Kinda crisper. Personal opinion.

my hands are really small. i dont care if the shape is ambidextrous or ergonomic but it should be very small and have good tracking. i like the spawn but i heard that it has jitter problems and that it doest not track well on every surface. is there an alternative mouse ?

Yes, I swipe the mouse at speeds up to 3.5m/s when playing.

It's not so much because of low sensitivity but because I move the cursor all the time, and very fast. Plenty of people thinks I'm using higher sensitivity.

How does the AM track @ 2300 dpi 1000 hz on Artisan Hayate btw? (black surface..) I'm using 1150 step atm, but I'd rather use the native step if possible.

Well for one thing I wouldn't recommend the native step unless you are naturally a very high sens player, just thought I'd throw that out there.
