They don't flex your motherboard, period.
H100's are loud, and a cheaper much quieter D14 performs the same.
I don't care about how convenient or safe you prop it up to be.
Facts are It can leak, it is more expensive, has a worse price/performance ratio.
When was the last time you saw a thread of a D14 breaking a motherboard, or it leaking liquid from the heatpipes, oh wait.

You call "fanboyism," yet you sound like a fan boy yourself. My H100 at full speed is not loud at all. If you think the H100 at full speed is loud, then you must have not been around for the Vantec Tornado days. The D14 at higher voltages does not perform the same as an H100. That's when the H100 shines over all the more expensive air coolers. Sure it can leak, but those scenarios are few and far in between. Besides, it's not that much more expensive than a D14 no matter how much you bark it is. The D14 is nearly $90, the H100 is $115. Again, that's nearly a $25 difference. Except the thing is that at higher voltages, the H100 will give you lower temps, period.

I am not a fanboy of anything except price/performance.

I have seen a H100 in action, it is loud and sounds like a 100% Fan speed fermi.

$25 can go to a bigger HDD/SSD, and the gap is so miniscule its almost irreverent .

Like I said, if you think that's loud with speakers on, or headphones on then you are nitpicking. It sounds nothing like my full-speed Fermi cards, that's such an exaggeration it's not even funny.

If 6 degrees to you is minuscule then I don't know what to tell you.

When I was originally going to buy one, I found most reviews averaged it to be 2-4c.

But $160AUD AIO or a $110 C14 that'd fit in my case.

A part of me wants to say you have no idea what you're talking about. Perhaps you have just had bad experiences with the H100. Despite the recent turn of events that poor fellow on the forum is having with his RMA and leaked h100 it is a solid cooler..

The h100 is not loud, at least not in my CM HAF X 942 case, at all. The graphics cards are WAY more audible then the cooler. I run the h100 with after-market fans though(4 Cougar vortex fans in push/pull) and the temps are better then a D14 for sure. Plus I don't have a monstrosity sitting in my case. The h100 looks WAY cleaner if you're into that. Of course you would need good cable management and what not for it to achieve that look, which I do not have.

I am going to get a custom loop probably around christmas but my H100 has served me incredibly well. The temps have been nothing short of exceptional, the noise, a non-issue, at least in my situation. My EVGA GTX 670's FTW even at 30% fan speed are louder.

Even if you don't have a Micro Center near you to get their great deal on the 3570K you can still get one for the EXACT SAME PRICE as that 2500k by ordering it from Amazon.

Core i5-3570K

As for the rest of the rig the capstone is one of the best Rosewill psus. It will serve you very well.
Get whatever case you like. They looks/styling is a very personal thing.
Personally I would get the Mpower board simply because each one is tested for 24 hours with at least a 4.5GHz oc before leaving the factory. Much less chance of getting a bad board.
Good choice going with the 256GB instead of the 128GB ssd.
As for the cooler, if you're looking at an H100 why not get one of the wc kits from XSPC or EK? That will give you better cooling then all of the others mentioned previously. I would stick with the prolimatech tim though!! thumb.gif

XSPC 240 Kit
XSPC 360 Kit

Everything else looks great.
