Using a low sensitivity I need to lift and replace my mouse a lot, the rubber on the sides of the BE were too slippery so I couldn't grip it properly - I much prefer the glossy sides on the regular DA, mind you my hands don't sweat much so the rubber sides probably aren't suited to me.

How is this any different from the Old one? Old one was 3.5g or 3g? I get confused by them.. Cause i'm planning to get a deathadder..

Surely, whether you seat or not, the rubber would offer better grip?

That's like saying that you don't need tyres on your car when it isn't raining and would prefer plastic... Kind of. Everyone to their own I guess.

That's what I thought prior to buying one, literally had cramps from trying to hold it securely in my hand without it slipping though - wish I could explain it.

I found the DA BE sides to be too slippery as well. Kinda makes you think what kind of "rubber coating" they used.
Furthermore the "rubber coating" was way too thin. Mine started to show signs of wear in just a week.

The grippiness of the "rubber coating" is significantly inferior compared to the ones on the Spawn and IE3.0. The sides on these mice are coated with REAL rubber coating that fully serves its purpose of providing grip to the sides of the mouse

i am playing with my deathadder BE right now and there is no way no matter how you grip this mouse it would slip out of your hand unless you are missing fingers or not using your fingers to even hold on to it

It's not the same thing. As it seems, some people grip glossy easier than rubber. I think it depends on how much you sweat. I don't have any handsweat at all, and glossy gives me a "suck"-like grip, wheres the rubber is just slippery. There are also different kinds of rubber coating. I can grip my G400 without any problems, but the Deathadder BE and Zowie EC eVo was horrible.
