Razer Deathadder 4G - Page 15

By the Way Guys.

Did somebody of you thougth on the Possibility of completely hardwarebased Settings for the new Deathadder 4G, as you can do it with a Abyssus if we talk about a Razer Mouse that already had it with the Switches on the Bottom or the EC evo Series?

That would be the coolest thing, but guess it won't be this way cause I have already read of a adjustable LOD for the Deathadder 4G and for this a Driver is surely needed. Caseyfoster already told that in a ESEA League Thread about the DA4G and he is also the Guy you see on this leaked Packshot of the new Deathadder 4G with a Advertisement Statement besides NBK of Verygames. I mean Caseyfoster of netcode illuminati. You can find his Deathadder4G Thread over google.

A only Synapse Option would be the worst they could to.

Here for your Interests.

The Thread and Guy I talked about:

Caseyfoster would have all Imformations we are interested in about this new Deathadder, but he is not allowed to talk about the special things at this Point until it gets official announced. wink.gif

So why are people excited for this mouse exactly?
The same reason people hype and get excited over any product.

It's a Deathadder, it's simple as that and everybody with lil Knowledge knows about this Mouse and why it has such a Status.

Not Razer made the Deathadder big, we the Customers did. wink.gif

It's the same as Microsoft would refresh the Intelli 1.1 or 3.0.

Those Mice are legendary.

Yes its a deathadder. So is the Black edition and the 3.5g. I just don't understand what's so remarkable about this mouse that separates it from the previous iterations, especially when its in the era of the company that made the Ouroboros (by the way, STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOUSE).

"It's the same as Microsoft would refresh the Intelli 1.1 or 3.0."

I wasn't aware the deathadder needed a rehash.

Yeah I mean I understand you, but either you get excited because of this new Release or not. Nobody said the Deathadder is the only or best Option.

They already got me with those leaked pics, but I am a special Case like some other Micecollectors anyway.

I think it's first understandable how good the new 4G is so soon it's out because then you know for sure about the technically Upgrades compared to the past Deathadders.

How you saw in this Post of Casey, they implemented a adjustable LOD which no DA had before and maybe they got some more lil surprises with the new exclusive 4G optical in their bags. ^^

The 4g dual sensor 'could' be a surprise, and I guess I'll wait for any reviews on that front, but from my experience on 2 of their products that use it (ouroboros and taipan), the mouse would stop tracking every now and again, even when the LOD adjustment was set to max. This was on an artisan HEIN.

It wont be a crappy dual laser optical mix. It will be a simple clean optical. Skylit already called the Sensormodel and casey confirmed it wont be the mix known from a taipan. Razer is not dumb and knows what their customers expect of a new da and what not.

Better construction using better materials, with rubber grips for people that lift the mouse. Internal design seems improved.

Driver independence if they poll at 500Hz by default like the current model, and the DPI buttons work in hardware. I don't know if the new mice just don’t have onboard memory or something, but my new Black Edition did not retain my DPI profiles when I reinstalled Windows recently (I was using the Black Edition drivers when I set them, not Synapse) as I had been hoping to skip installing any drivers for it.

New 4G optical sensor, when nothing seems to have bested the DeathAdder sensor yet - others are comparable in some regards, but all the 3090 mice have a fatal flaw in one area, which the DeathAdder does not. The only real issue with the DeathAdder is LOD.

An update to, in my opinion, the best gaming mouse ergonomically, with a complete internal redesign is exciting. While newer Razer mice may disappoint, all new laser mice are equally disappointing. I trust that they won't screw it up with the new 4G optical sensor.

It's too bad that it doesn’t sound like they will have a left-handed model. Having just bought a DA:BE for my right hand, I'd be more likely to pick up one right away for my left. Couldn't hurt to have either the new one or the DA:BE as a backup though, depending on which I prefer.

Artisan pads suck, and cloth is not ideal for laser. The Artisan pads look very nice and have good construction, but when most mice seem to have trouble tracking well on them, it means they are not good mouse pads.

With the current rate of synapse uptake on their products, it's more likely you will need drivers to switch out profiles (if not, why didn't they have the option for their flagship mouse?), decreasing driver independence.

Other 3090 mice seem to do just fine... The only exceptions are probably the zowie mice.

And the Aritsan HEIN has a uniform surface (no weave). The HEIN is actually one of the best pads out there on the market at the moment (it's why they got so popular). And the laser mice track perfectly fine on cloth regardless.. It's their implementation of the second sensor calibration that seems to screw things up.
