Razer Deathadder 4G - Page 4

i agree with dems in the point that probably a new entry lvl mouse is on the horizon. however not sure if it will necessarily have the same sensor - for purely commercial reasons.

(Speculations/unconfirmed)

It is an updated sensor. Nothing new. They say it is lighter. I don't think they will change the shape of the DeathAdder ever -- it is their companies' style.

I used to say the same thing about the viper/diamondback shape...

It better be a lot lighter, then, or myself and a lot of people won't spring for this mouse.

I like the shape of my current DA, I love the sensor. But I've given up playing with it due to its titan weight.

Well if they replace the DeathAdder altogether with a new mouse then yes. I don't think it matters to them if there are complaints about the shape. They are a big company, money matters more to them, which means LEDs and high CPI is their focus. I doubt they will spend on a totally new mold when they sell a bunch of the current one.

Anyone hear that this mythical 4G is because of new competition with similar performance coming out soon?

Interesting. My original post must have been deleted by a mod.

Conspiracy?!? Gasp.

Funny how you can view the cached version of the thread and see the original image. (it's still uploaded on overclock.net servers)
