Razer Deathadder 4G - Page 36

Please forgive me if this has been answered already, but I don't have time to read through all 35 pages of this thread:

What USB polling rate and which DPI setting does the DA2013 have when you just plug it in, without ever installing any drivers?

Thanks.

I have my DA 2013 already, it's great! Better than Savu IMHO. Great grip, my hand doesn't sweat, it looks sick too.

I'm pretty sure it defaulted to 1800 DPI at 500Hz just like the old DeathAdders.

Those results are terrible with either mouse. I would suggest trying another surface, or at least lowering your polling rate to see if that helps.

Once again, poor tracking from Artisan pads when using optical mice. I have mostly only used the Shiden/Shiden-Kai, and gave people the benefit of the doubt when they said the cloth pads were fine, but that's worse than the results I get from my "torture test" surface with the 3.5G sensor, or a cheap promotional cloth pad.

Thank you.

I can live with that. Don't need 6400DPI tbh, as long as it tracks just as well as other settings.

I'd be really interested to see how it performs on the icemat/SteelSeries I-2, if someone has this combo.

It should, but you are going to be stuck with the LEDs on, and missing out on the surface calibration and adjustable LoD features if you're wanting to avoid using Synapse.
