I'm not sure that this is caused by the DeathAdder. I was just playing Far Cry 3 when that happened to me (first time) but I was using a 360 controller, which disables mouse input.

Are you still using Windows 7 as listed in your signature, or have you upgraded to Windows 8?

Same, it was shipped from Holland, my mouse is perfectly fine too.

I had this happen to me twice with the new Razer Krait 2013 last night, but it only happened when I had Synapse 2.0 installed, when I uninstalled it did not do it again the entire night. I re-installed Synapse this morning and put it in offline mode and from the brief testing I did it did not happen again. I will test it further later this afternoon.

I'm using Windows 8, it appears to be some sort of bug with Synapse causing this in the new DeathAdder and Krait when in online mode of Synapse. The in-game crosshair will snap down to the floor and do 360 spins until you move the mouse again to stop it.

I knew I wasn't crazy. smile.gif

This sounds like the issue I was having as well. I will try the mouse without the driver installed at all and see what happens. This makes a lot more sense than my getting two faulty mice.

Try also putting Synapse in offline mode and see if you get the issue, seems odd but I wasn't able to reproduce this when I put it offline.

Top right of Synapse you'll see your sign-on e-mail address, click the drop down arrow and choose Go Offline.
