Razer Deathadder 4G - Page 47

If anyone is wondering, my Deathadder 4G is working fine on my Artisan Shiden White at 3500DPI. I tested it for 5 minutes perfectly fine, then tried out the calibration feature. After running the calibration and messing with the LOD feature, my Deathadder seemed to track fine at any LOD setting. I turned off the calibration thought since I felt it was unnecessary.

Has anyone been able to find a solution to the 360 spinning bug on this mouse? It doesn't happen that often, maybe once an hour? How fast I move the mouse doesn't seem to be relevant as I've had it bug out while the mouse was stationary. The offline trick didn't help and neither did playing with calibration on or off. I'm on Windows 7 if that makes any difference.

Something else I've noticed, the LoD on this mouse feels exactly the same regardless if the slider is on 1 or 10. Can anybody confirm that this function doesn't seem to make a difference?

I love everything about this new DeathAdder (besides the infrequent spinning issue) and I would hate to return it - but it's starting to look like I don't have much of a choice.

Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated!

I'm on a BRAND NEW Steelseries QcK+ (all black, not one of those colored team edition ones) that I bought alongside this DeathAdder. All my other mice track flawlessly on it.

That's very alarming that they said you're the only one to report the issue. I mean, I've counted at least 5 other people in this thread that have this problem. Is it possible they had a bad batch of 2013 DAs?

That's very disappointing.

I hope they get their act together and come through with a viable solution for this, because they did an excellent job creating this mouse. If a firmware update was released that corrected this issue, I dare say that they created the PERFECT mouse (for me, at least).

Personally not fond of right angled switch choice. Should have kept TTC 159. (subjectively better imho)

I've experienced the random mouse spazzing out up/down issue issue on my QCK about 3 times since I bought it on the 24th. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the mouse, hopefully this issue is something that can be fixed via the firmware or software, if not ill just switch back to the 3.5g.
