Razer Deathadder 4G - Page 54

If you have at least a dual core CPU and a decent PC in general, you probably won't be bothered by Synapse much.

And yes, AFAIK macros, calibration and .exe-assigned profiles only function with Synapse running.

with my old M90 if i set 1000Hz polling rate when i move the mouse the cpu run to 3-4% and i have i5 4670K.
With 500hz and Synapse 2.0 is same or can be worst ?

You can put synapse into offline mode. It does not need to be online...

Exactly the same for me.

I bought a DA 4G a while ago, tried it for just a few hours then returned it. Now I bought one again, going to try it more and see if I like it. I do like the lower weight but the coating on the 3.5G is so much better, much harder to lift the 4G. The swithes in 4G was harder than the 3.5G, I like light switches but probably can get used to it. One big problem as usual with DA is the thin mouse feet. On my DA 3.5G I added 0,5mm skates made for the 1.1/3.0 mice, just put them on the stock feet and it worked great. But since the 4Gs LOD is much lower I want to ask you guys if someone here have done that on the 4G, or maybe if it's better to remove stock feet first?

IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT DA 2013 GRAVE DEFECT !!!

After every restart my Synapse 2.0 not recognize my DA 2013, im using in offline mode.
For recognizing i must unplug the mouse, restart without it and replug the mouse when windows and Synapse have been loaded.

I installed Synapse, set my settings to 800 DPI @ 1000hz and shut off the logo led. Then I opened msconfig and set Synapse to not start with Windows. The mouse keep the settings and if I need Synapse I just start it, but I don't need it running.

This is impossible with 4G series, these have not the memory and the custom settings run only with Synapse enable, otherwise run with the default settings and this means that is impossible to change DPI on the fly and u'll must use its DPI settings.

The only time you need Synapse running is when you have macros and binds etc. DPI, polling rate and light settings is saved on the onboard memory. And I don't need more than one DPI step. The only reason I don't uninstall it is to update firmware when they release a new. Just unnecessary to keep it running for me.
