I sent it in once. like 2 months old because of artifact and now it dose it again and a reboot let me play for abit then it happens again

I say it the memory.

99% GPU related and you need to send it again.

1% driver related

I had a 590 that was artifacting like crazy, I contacted the company and they wanted me to send the GPU back, but later i tried another driver and the issue never came back.

Does this only happen in BF3 or other games too?

Could be either memory dying, or undevoltage, try upping vcore on you gpu with msi afterburner a tiny bit.

Nope i bumped up volts to gpu a few times to see. its @ 1.163 volts @ 925 core. Just bummed it up again to 1.175 arg. \

ya i believe it the stock thermal pads on vrams. i got some aftermarket stuff just emails dd to find out what thickness the pads are. i got mx3 or icd7 on the gpu an memory.

Wait, if I understand correctly, you put both THERMAL PAD and THERMAL paste on the memory? Thats a big no no man. Just use the thermal pad on the memory and also use msi afterburner to check memory temp.
