Aftermarket Cooler for a reference 6950 > Flashed 6970

Thread Starter
Hey all,

Currently in my TJ07 (yet to go under water, hopefully in the new year but with a 670 or 7950) my flashed 6950/6970 idle's at around 60°c-65°c with stock 6970 speeds and the fan on 40%

Being a reference card, the cooler is the stock blower type.

Can anybody recommend a good aftermarket cool that I can fit?

Thanks!

I think the best one is called the accellero or something, it's just a standard aftermarket cooler

I think the artic accelcero is one of those special gems that you dont find often. I almost bought two of them. I also think Asetek is a cool company, they make the clc's.
Now if they only dropped the price we would all have one. ;> Look , the mods not for everyone I just try to spread the word because i think its helpful to people. Not trying to take anything away from a pro built model. I hope i didnt come off that way because thats not how i feel. I mean in reality we are doing the same thing. Oh btw i found artic mx-4 to work very well, Its what i used on my cards.

If anyone wants to see the mod i posted the link earlier. If not i hope you get the artic accelcero.
have a great day. :>

I would recommend the Arctic Cooling Accellero Twin Turbo II. Its like 40 or so usd.
I use those with my 6970s and it keeps temps idle at 40 or lower -> never really checked
and it keeps load temps at 80 and 65 repectively for card 1 and card 2.
