Hi all,

My fc is 30 watt per channel, does this means it sucks out 30w x6 ? Also, I cant really tell difference between rpms from fc and when I had it connected directly to mb. Shouldnt it be blowing stronger ?

Thanks

Lol no it doens't mate,

Basically your fan controller will pull depending on what it has connected to it. Also a number of them have capacitors in the back to help with this.

If you were to have 6 gentle typhoons which pull around 10w I think (maybe less) your fan controller won't pull 60w. It should pull less because ofthe capacitors....

As for the RPM's, if your fans can only go 1700RPM even with your fan controller they won't go faster than 1700RPM. Again, what fans do you have and what's the rated RPM for them.

I'm using are the 4 140mm that came with my Switch 810, 2 120mm nzxt fans, 1 old 140mm from my old scout case and 1 80mm for hd cooling, nothing fancy.

I was running MSI Gtx 670 with Gtx 560 for physx and the 670 keeps downclocking to stock, so I took out the 560 and no dclocking since. Actually, seems to run better without the 560.

Depending on the motherboard you will be moving from x16 to x8 on the PCI-E slots so not surprised.

I'd say those will pull a max of 15w to be honest.
