for me when i ordered hyperglide and puretrak HD i get ALOT of resistence from puretrak hd
i was using the puretrak on a wooden desktop for a full day before i used it on my cloth pad hien and the resistence is so significant that i miss my hyperglide

im not sure if puretrak is still in process of breaking in for smooth glide but time will tell i guess

the HD's DO take time to break in but they will literally last you the life of the mouse. i was a hardcore fan of hyperglides for all my mouse but with shipping and overall lack of mouse support i needed to try something else. after about 3 days of average game play my HD's are broken in.

my last set i used on the hard part of my desk for the majority of the day and that really sped up the process... i suggest just doing that rather than putting it right on your pad. but honestly, the $7 for one set will be the last set youll need cause they're so thick.

btw, some aussies on another TF2 board i play on were talking about how puretrak has started to round their original perfectglide line and will work on their HD line next so there won't be any scrapping. maybe send puretrak an email confirming? bst's mouse is using perfectglide's and i think his are rounded as well. he really likes them

thats exactly what i did, although i did it a bit longer, i had the hd on wooden desktop for 2 days and 2 days on cloth pad but it still have significant drag on it.
break in or not, the resistance is significant enough for me to change back to hyperglide where its frictionless compare to puretrak hd

QUESTION!

How long does puretrak ship to the south-east asia?

I made my order on oct 17... and I still haven't received it!

I am also planning on ordering from corepad but checking their site, they only have paypal as an option....

I don't know what paypal is...

is paypal secure? Is it free?

Try writing Puretrak? Perhaps they have a answer.
And yes, Paypal is secure and free, you only need a credit card.

Seriously... i have read countless times this suggestion.

I don't think hyperglide has feet for the sensei/xai. Their site only indicates 1 mouse and that is the ikari.

Sorry but I like to have the feet actually FIT the mouse. And not just stuck into bottom areas of my mouse or over the current mousefeet. That for me is not a good idea as it gets gunk at weird places at the bottom of your mouse and the adhesive of these mouse feet isn't that tough.

if you used the cheapest option it can take up to 20 days for internationals... all depends on where u live and how good your mail system is. they're here in the US and shipping here is very good even for snail mail

-_- oh god 20 days...

How about the corepad skatez? How long does their regular shipping take? I ordered a couple of xai/sensei skates from corepad too... just in case what i read about the puretrak proves to be true for my case. Quite frankly I just can't believe most of the bad comments on the puretrak HD because plenty were from quite unstable sources. (e.g. people who hasn't followed instructions)

I have been google-ing for reviews on they hyperglides, corepad and puretrak. And honestly the reviews that I find are one-sided, lacking pictures, and lacking information. The best I found is the one here in overclock. Even the pictures we find online are quite ... well... useles.. I mean who would need a picture of the mouse skates that look like this? -- http://shop.cyes.nl/images/product_images/popup_images/corepad-skatez-steelseries-xai-0-431.jpg --- seriously... i can probably just make one with ms paint. Hell I can probably make one with cardboard, scissors and a flashlight.

I hope with the measly camera I have, I can get you guys pictures of what it looks like in person. I might just take photos of it and then just use one set on the mouse... coz I am dirt poor really. It would be a waste to use both.

Hi guys!

Received the puretrak HD feet in the mail.

Check out the pictures.

The corepad and takasta ones haven't arrived but I'll be posting thoughts and pics about them too.
