uptight and upset at a video game? That's a really sad reflection on your values. What people seem to forget is that this game is meant to last years
. I'm glad legendaries and set items don't drop often. The whole point of Diablo is to grind, just as it was in Diablo II. You played and played and played until you got that amazing new item. Then, with that new item, it was easier than it was before! So now you're able to go through your mobs and bosses faster while searching for your next great piece of gear. Monster Power sounds like a great idea as it allows everyone to customize to their own player abilities. I really hope that the expansion pack (and hopefully the 2-4 that follow the first) are as big a game changer as Lord of Destruction was.
The only thing that I can think is a serious problem is the layout of the dungeons. The game feels very small and "funnelled-in" as you basically just go from Campion pack to Champion pack then boss. Cycle repeat. The randomization is not good enough at current levels.
I wish the land was more open and that there were more side dungeons and things to do other than boss runs.
You people ***** too much about inconsequential things. The reason why the game industry lacks on originality is because gamers do nothing but complain. I mean, look at Bioware! They took SO MUCH FLACK
that the guys at the creative top feel like they've failed at their professions and have gone to do other things completely unrelated to the games industry. That says something about your ungrateful, gluttonous asses. These guys work SO HARD for your ENTERTAINMENT
and yet you ***** and moan as if you are the only ones who know how to make the games. If you want to be less disappointed in life, go play a sport. Those rules never change so if the game sucks, it's because you suck. Stop acting like $60 entitles you to the greatest life experiences available. Video games are a hobby and a form of entertainment. If you're not entertained, shut the **** up and move on. I imagine most of you will say that I'm the uptight one but hopefully my rant makes you reflect on yourself and you can see how childish it is to get so worked up about such small things.
