Will intel release DDR4 Chipsets With Haswell Succesor (BroadWell) And Skylake being a complete DDR4 standard or ahead of schedule 2014-2015?

What do you guys think, now it would be far fetched to think intel is releasing DDR4 mainstream with haswell, hmmm new socket though, intel stated that it was releasing Haswell in 2013 and DDR4 2014-2015 but its also stating the fact that companies are pressuring intel to release DDR4 quicker than expected, my next build will be DDR4 With Broadwell or Even Skylake! Im predicting DDR4 standard with Intel BroadWell ETA 2014, Discuss and when will you build your next rig, Right now i dont see the point in going Haswell in 2013 if Haswell will still use DDR3 because ill need to purchase a new mobo because of the socket anyways, my next gaming rig will be DDR4, it seems that software needs to catchup to the hardware companies as they are so ahead now it seems. Discuss.

I think ddr3 is quite fast as it is and getting faster every month, but if ddr4 can break the 3000+mhz mark with the chips released in the first 6 months or so that'd be nice too

No chance.

DDR4 will probably appear first with Haswell-E/EN/EP.

I believe mainstream support for DDR4 is scheduled comes with Skylake, after Broadwell. So in 3 years roughly.

Right now i think i screwed up buying this rig because i can't see myself upgrade anytime soon ... Ivy-E maybe but it'll depend on prices... will proly get new gpus before that and a couple more monitor rolleyes.gif

What is suppose to be the deal breaker between ddr3 and ddr4?
I'll be sticking with the CPU/Mobo/RAM combos in my rigs for a good while longer. I've decided to stop upgrading my computers simply for the sake of upgrading. That way I have more money for buying games and going to LAN parties, as well as my other non-PC related hobbies. I can see myself sticking with these CPUs for at least 3 more years, if not longer.

I definitely won't purchase a new CPU/Mobo before DDR4 is standard.

My new build will be a DDR4 most likely, 2014-2015. Skylake DDR4, My 2500k@ 4.6 is already crazy fast unless haswell is insanely faster in benchmarks i don't see much of a point i can game perfectly, maybe a GPU upgrade but thats it.
