Is this possible?

So I saw this picture of this gorgeous water cooling setup, but then noticed that all 4 holes on the graphics card block were being used. So what I'm wondering is does water actually circulate and cool the graphics card properly with this setup or does the water just flow straight in one port through another.

It's gonna go into the input, circulate around the card, then out the output.

I would say the flow here is not at it's optimum performance.

CPU is taking it's worst here.

Interesting. More going on here than I am aware, if it works. Based on my experience with full cover graphics blocks that have options for nozzle placement like this, I do not see how the graphics card would get any flow at all, unless ...

It could be that the CPU block is considerably more restrictive than the GPU Block. This could lead to the water flowing through the GPU Block as water will follow the path of least resistance, but, this would lead to little flow in the CPU block.

Another scenario I could buy into is that there is enough pressure in the loop to force water through any hole it can find, hence it will flow through both blocks simply to find a way back to the reservoir.

Just speculating. I really have no facts to present, but at least I gave it some thought!

The high pressure scenario is the only way I can see this working, good thinking.
I don't have the expertise in water cooling to pull off something like this, perhaps I should try a more traditional loop instead so I don't end up destroying anything

Yup, you need high pressure to acheive this. It is more for show than function in this case. Just stick with a traditional setup.

Its just like having two full cover blocks in parallel, nothing new here apart from instead of the second gpu block it's a cpu block ...Also add to that the water is hitting the GPU first then the CPU.....so the pressure drop will be more on the CPU end not the GPU....

Nothing new, just a new combo
