i dont need a voltage mod, but theres not a section for other graphics card mods.
here is the issue
i bought a gigabyte 6850 graphics card that was flashed to 6870 so voltage would be unlocked.
with that bios the hdmi didn't work. i use my pc on my tv.
at this point i wanted to flash it back to stock bios, however i flashed my HD 5770 card by accident.
i realized this and found the correct bios for the 5770 and flashed it again (no reboot and also didnt close the flash tool, if that helps)
still haven't rebooted and flashed the 6850 to the stock bios, hdmi video works now on that card.
problem: the 5770 is only showing up as "standard vga graphics adapter" and my bios flashing tools cant see the card.
i removed all ati software and ran driver fusion to remove anything "driver" related out of the system.
started up in safe mode, ran driver fusion again. rebooted
installed amd drivers and still not showing the card any different.
is there a hardware mod i can do to wipe the bios/corrupt bios off of the card
i have no fear of soldering parts onto or pulling them off the card if need be.
the card in question is
HD 5770 850M 1GB DDR5 DP HDMI DUAL DVI PCI-E
HD-577A-ZNFC
i want, need, must have this card come back from the dead.. i had it overclocked to 1000/14000 and folding like a beast!
this card makes more PPD than my 6850 at its max (stock voltage) overlock.
