D5 level1 for Phobya 1080?

In the system in picture below (click for larger), I'm Running a Laing D5 with EK top on speed level 1.
It's 2x 360 Magicool extreme, 2x 7950 EK FC fullcover, some tubing and so on.

If I replace the 2 360radiators with a Phobya 1080 would I still be able to run the pump at level 1?

I think your flow rate is already low using all those rads and blocks on level 1. Why are you using it on level 1 in the first place? I run 2 of mine on 5 and I can't hear them.

I don't mind the lesser amount of noise, is there harm/damage to pump If I run it at level1?

Also the volume knob on mine is broken so I need to figure out a way to open it up and glue on something so I can adjust the pump.

Edit---> Everyone keeps telling me they can't hear their pump on level5, I can clearly hear it on level5, maybe mine's broken?

I guess maybe you guys use high rpm fans.

How old is it? It very well could be failing. I am using high RPM fans but I have padding underneath mine and you can't hear them at all once the air bubbles get out.

I think the pump might be 5 years old, so I guess it's wery old

On level 1 I can't really hear it unless I put my finger on it to sense it's running when fans are running.

But I do feel it to be noisy at level 5.

How about almost at level 4? I do feel that you will need to run it higher or 2 pumps to get the proper amount of flow for your system.

Flow is hugely overrated. I doubt you'll have a problem w/ it running @ 1. But if find your temps are unsatisfactory then increase pump speed, it isn't exactly difficult. tongue.gif

My temps are fine, I'm more worried that my pump will die at Level 1 if it has to *work hard* at Level 1 to push the water, if that makes sense?

If no harm is done to pump then I'll keep it at Level1, also I notice that if I increase fan speed my temps drop, so I guess my pump is not bottlenecking me.
