Best 775 overclocking Motherboards

Hi Guys.

I want to buy a 775 socket motherboard that will be able to do some 4ghz+ overclocking.

I ran across the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P which seems to be the best out their but this board seems to be quite expensive $100+. Are there any other boards that can be recommended that kind of matches the GA-EP45-UD3P?

I couldn't find anything good below 150$ (some were +220), so your best bet is to buy it off an OCN member....

Found this Foxconn for you though:

theres the ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe which is basically the same thing but with an mSATA port.

i searched alot for a better 775 board that supports DDR3 ram as DDR2 ram is too damn expensive ($120 for 4GB DDR2-1066 Corsair Dominator)

both the Gigabyte board and the ASUS board are on my to buy list since they would be cheaper than upgrading my current DDR2 ram.

beware though, p45 chipset cannot support sli, only crossfire

EOL for the 775 platform is three years deep... you are not going to have many choices. If you want to OC, you will want a P45 board like the Gigabyte you mentioned. The G41 is not that good for OC'ing, and has integrated graphics, but it is the cheapest and easiest to find.

I happen to actually have extra DDR3 Ram, it's the 1600 Corsair Dominator Ram, if the ASUS P5Q3 DELUXE supports that RAM than i will just go with that board as long as it can handle 4GHZ+ overcocking smile.gif
