Grab a HD7870 and save the money for something else!

660Ti is the best bang/buck as far as I can see. In most cases it keeps up with a 670, 7950 without a problem or is in within 3-5% performance wise.

The 660ti and 7870 are fairly equal cards, they did have driver issues; but i don't think it should be a deciding factor.

Either GTX 660 or GTX 670 !

I updated another system from GTX 460 1GB OC SLi to a single MSI GTX 660 Twinfrozr III OC 2GB card and the GTX 660 actually is a tad faster i all the newer DX11 games. I was thinking of GTX 660 Ti but the cheapest was still over 100 bucks more expensive than the MSI GTX 660 card.
A little comparison here in the end of the thread http://www.overclock.net/t/1312715/gtx-460-sli-vs-gtx-660-upgrade

I have 3x GTX 670 in another PC, and I compared the GTX 660 up against the GTX 670 and it was only during 8xMSAA at 1920x1080 I saw the GTX 670 pulling ahead by a good margin (15 FPS in Crysis 2 Ultra High detail + textures, DX11 8xMSAA).

The GTX660Ti almost keeps up with a GTX670 and the GTX660 almost keeps up with a GTX660Ti !
= GTX 660 great card !

yup the gtx660 non ti is currently the most value for money card in nvidia's lineup..
i would gladly pick it up for $220 but hd7850 offers even better value for money at $180. for 1080p gaming both are pretty damn good cards.. but i prefer hd7850 over gtx660.

Get the GTX 660 Ti . the GTX 660 is handicapped by Nvidia's restrictions on power target. the GTX 660 Ti at max overclocks is 30% faster than GTX 660 while costing 30% more. And remember performance never scales linearly with price. GTX 680 is 25% costlier than GTX 670 in price but 8 - 10% faster in performance.

Then you can argue what's the point if there's only 2 FPS for minimum FPS that seperate the card ?.

that min fps occurs between 260 sec and 280 sec in the fraps graph. there are no frequent drops to 30 fps. so its not an issue as you would believe.
