Any help would be sick overclocking my 3770k to 5

heres what i have so far ive heard its pretty easy to get to 5 ghz on them but i dont know what to do should i keep crankin the vcore up till she gets to my safe zone (72-74 degrees) lol this is my first build and first time OC and after months of reading and learning my comp ive gotten it to 4.7....ive just heard alot on the max voltage and dont really know what to change othere then the PLL and vCore

What sort of cooling are you running? You'll need custom water for 5Ghz unless you have a golden chip or decide to delid

i got a 420 rad up top and 240 bot of a nzxt switch i got the raystorm copper edition waterblock thumb.gif

Keep increasing the vcore? and i still dont understand the whole offset voltage?

You dont want to use software overclocking... you need to do it through the BIOS

i got the the maximus v extreme which comes with an oc key so i dont gotta reboot everytime before i set a perm in the BIOS

Okay... im at 1.4 vcore 1.5 PLL do i need to up the BLK Frequency?
