2560x1440 or 5760x1080 ? - Page 3

I have had eyefinity for months now. If I could I would go back in time and get a 1600p monitor. Half the games I play do not even support eyefinity. If you get a 1440p monitor every game will be playable unlike on eyefinity. So that is my vote. But once you go eyefinnity you cant go back so make a wise decision.

I just cant stand the splits between bezels, and as cool as it is eyefinity/3ds setups imo are still just a little ahead of their time.

teehee.

anyway, in my opinion the impact of the jump in resolutions isn't the same each time, there is a point were there is enough pixels to be perfectly content, and with each jump it gets closer and closer to it; The jump from 1080p to 1440p is a pretty damn big difference , id say more so than any of the other jumps (in terms of user experience), many people would disagree with me there I'm sure. As I'm typing, i have a 1080p and a 1440p screen sitting in front of me, it used to be 1080p and a 1440x900 screens only two weeks ago. the difference in screen space bugs me A LOT more now. I think the jump to Mech keyboards and SSD is a good comparison because it is talked about a lot today, and so there would be plenty of talk about how good the jump is. Anyway i was just sharing my thoughts. i hope this hasn't sounded aggressive, just giving a response is all.
