Question about compatibility

Hi everyone, first time posting here. After reading another post here of recommendations, I picked up the Dayton DTA100a and the Pioneer BS41s. Making it $149 with free 3-Day shipping.

Can anyone tell me if that'd be compatible with the speakers and amp I've already bought? I'm mostly planning to use it for TV/video games, so I don't even know if the sub would be necessary but I'm debating for the deal they sent.

Sorry, still pretty new to all of this. I guess I shouldn't have asked about them being compatible, but does the amp need to power the sub, and if so, is it powerful enough?

Amp powers sub, yes, and it will shake the house to it's foundation.
