One thing thats been troubling me is the amount of vcore jumping during load. I set vcore to 1.35V in GPU Tweak but in the monitor when the card is loaded the actual vcore is between 1.270-1.280 and sometimes it goes even lower when the card isn't fully used.

vdroop.

Well this is just plain retarded. I tried enabling 100% LLC but my vdroop became really really bad. 1.35V in Tweak would become 1.24 and lower in monitor.

Out of curiosity I tried 50% LLC and the vdroop in monitor is better now. 1.35V is 1.3-1.31V in monitor. What the hell

Currently I have

8gb corsair 1600 vengeance
1tbhdd 60gbssd
Cm silent pro M 700W psu...
Is my psu enough for this card ??
In full load ?? No OC

Yes, no probs.
But why would you spend $100+ more on the Matrix (comparing to other 7970s) and not OC?

For oc I need 850+W psu...
But I dnt have dat much budget for psu now...
When I bought my other components I didnt get the gfx as I was w8ng for 660ti to launch...So I purchased the psu according to it..

This is incorrect. For one 7970, even overclocked to 1200mhz+ and an Ivy Bridge i7, you will not exceed a total of 500-550W in peaks. Average will be around ~350-400W.

Hello guys!

Installed the latest Gpu-Tweak from Asus and running the latest drivers 13.3 beta 2, and I'm getting some good overclocking, also I'm getting no artifacts so far in tera, this is from updating gpu-tweak. I'm hitting 1310mhz on 1.34v under 60c with fans at 70% stable, running Final Fantasy XIV ARR Explorer Benchmark. http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/benchmark/index.html

Edit: this card has been a trip when it comes to troubleshooting glitches and artifacts on games. tongue.gif

No, just no.

A decent 500 watt unit would be fine.

Mmm... Maybe the Asus ROG forums might help you.
