Do you have any experience building your own or have any friends that could help.? Looks like you're going off either ibuypower or cyberpc. These companies aren't bad but they markup their prices and the build quality is sub par in my opinion from the few my brother and I had gotten before I realized it wasn't rocket science to build your own. For example check out either of these builds price wise on newegg.com and compare it to what they would charge.
OCN is a great community and I'm sure you could get all the help you need to put your own rig together

Edit: the top one seems very good should you decide to still go that route however SSDs are the shit but you'll very quickly fill up a 128 GB drive
Personally I like to use a 64-128gb drive for the OS and the games I'm playing T the time but I always have at least a 500gb drive for data movies music pics and what not

If you do happen to get the top one I would recommend getting another HDD as you would fill the SSD up extremely fast. Also with the second one IMO I'd get an SSD for it smile.gif

The first one is a custom made pc by a store in my area and the second one is an ibuypower. Unfortunately I just got into pcs and have no experience what so ever in making my own pc. I would be buying the ibuypower through bestbuy plus it's on sale for like 200$ so from the little research that I've done it seems like a decent starting computer. In your opinion, just by off the two pcs specs, which would be my best bet?

Yea I like the first one too. The only thing I'm looking at is the difference in RAM and the crossfire GPU against the regular 7850. Is that something I should worry about or is it not really a big deal?

I would get the first one.

But, I encourage you to build your own computer. I swear, it is not as complicated as it sounds. Desktops are modular, so the pieces are very easy to remove. Even if you don't know what you are doing, we are here on Overclock.net TO HELP YOU. We want to share. I jsut built my first computer last November for Skyrim, and I had no trouble.

We will help you with everything that you could need help with. We will get you a very nice system that isn't overpriced. All you ahve to do is ask.

I used to have a 40 minute video showing a COMPLETE pc assembly, from parts to a functioning computer. It really doesn't take that long. The only things that you might have trouble with are power connectors and wiring, but that is just if you have no help from other people. With a nice guided touch, we can help you fire it up the first time, just like mine did.

Can we help you, friend?

Unfortunately I don't have a ton of down time, plus I would be financed by my parents, and I would have to use their visa and stuff for online purchases. (They think the computer is for school wink.gif ) either way you guys were a lot of help, and really friendly! Im sure I'll probably need help eventually with my computer, and at least now I know where to get it

HAHAHA great link... Too bad it's a terrible movie

Well... If you do build it yourself, then we are here to help.

Also,,, go up to my last post and read my edit... Funny video... Its batman... so you have to watch it... smile.gif

Also... here is a "temp" list. Just a quick scout for items. I can adjust budget up and down if needed. Do you need a keyboard, mouse, and monitor? what about OS? CD drive (honestly, I didn't add one just because I don't have one myself tongue.gif )

I actually do need a OS. The place that sells the first pc will also give me windows 7 home premium for 100 bucks. And I was hoping to get a mouse too. I was thinking maybe a deathadder or mamba
