I can adjust the budget for that. Need a monitor or no? Also, does the price need to be a bit lower?

No that price is about good. And yea any monitor that you think is good, how much would it be with a gtx 660 ti?

Hmm... I'm working my way down.

Here is one with a deathadder, a generic logitech keyboard, and a 23" monitor. If you are okay with getting a 20", we can save a bit more money. I can step down the GPU if you want to...

That's pretty good right there. Now if I were to get that, I would get all the part and assemble it myself right?

Hmm... Almost. Yes except one thing.

I didn't include a DVD drive. You can get an ISO (legally, of course. Some microsoft partner site has ISOs for free download), put it on a 4 GB flash drive, and install windows with that.

Do you have another computer in the house you can use?

thats a pretty good build right there..but i would save some money on the case.. at $85 ita quite expensive ..a much cheaper case would be better ..
also could save a bit on the monitor .. $100 or so for a 1080p monitor would be better ..
also could save a bit more going from 7870 to a 7850.. oc'd they both perform similarly ..

It just depends on if he wants price to come down. I picked this case over the Storm Scout because the Scout has lousy wiring as compared to my old ghetto HAF 912. (from personal experience)

Don't understand the hate for HAFs. Must be a 'school rivalry' thing between fanboys. Even the old 912s look like extremely serviceable cases for the price. If I wasn't a Storm man, I'd grab a HAF XM tho thumb.gif

I mean come on! That's an awesome case! tongue.gif
