<$400 Graphic Design Monitor Suggestion

Thread Starter
I decided to splurge for a new system including a GTX 670. I just wanted some advice on what the best monitor under $400 would be for graphic design and playing Counterstrike:GO on the side. I am currently using a 25.5" ASUS 2ms GTG and it is pretty good for gaming, but has bad color accuracy. I hate the matte coating on Dell's otherwise I would consider those. If it is one of the Korean models, which one and why? I also have an XBOX 360 that I'd like to be able to connect to it from time to time.

Most of the Korean monitors have only one input, if I remember right. So if you want to use your xbox with the monitor, make sure you get one with more than one input.

Anybody have pixel issues or anything else with that model? I don't live near a Microcenter, so I can only have it shipped to me.

I just purchased this from a MicroCenter: http://www.microcenter.com/product/384780/EQ276W_27_IPS_LED_Monitor

The display is absolutely stunning and 27inch IPS goodness, refresh rate is great - at least during BF3 it seemed fast. I turned off Vsync and hardly ever saw a tear and when I did it was very minimal.

As far as color reproduction goes I haven't done any testing yet as I just got it, I'll try to chime back in on this - it'll be personal opinion but technical as I don't have any equipment to do real color gamut test etc.

It is at the right price and from what I've read the Aurias are rebranded Catleaps without the whole Korean shipping ebay deal - much safer... plus MicroCenter has a 60 days no questions asked return policy which is great for dead pixels.

The monitor had a flimsy but okay stand, nice OSD and buttons are well placed, DP, HDMI, DVI, VGA and AUDIO ports on the back, also came with DVI and VGA cables.

I spent a good hour fiddling with it at the store and that particular model was completely fine. If there were to be any pixel issues at all, I am sure MC would do returns for them.
