I think compuman meant that you have to change the desktop arrangement/orientation settings in Windows Display Panel/Nvidia Control Panel.

No Tablet PCs do it as soon as you take the screen out of the 'laptop' position, and they have another button that lets you switch orientations. No accelerometer is used. Even if it was an accelerometer, obviously the interface for rotating the screen via hardware is present, and it should be easy to replace the accelerometer with a switch.

But that's a whole other topic anyway...

And no in Windows all the settings are correct, I just can't find a way to do it outside of windows. Of course I could always get another GPU and connect the side monitors there, but that's a last resort.

So what part of memtest (which is using primitive VGA functionality) is going to tell the GPU to display the picture in portrait mode?

i think com mans trying to say in bios only one display will be recognised so change the lead that is dispalying and swap if for the middle so the middle monitor displays bios, this should inturn put it the right way up.

you will just have o configure your displays in windows again

None. But his screenshot does, and well I thought he wanted memtest to display portrait.

On second thoughts it seems like he just wants the other monitor to come up... in which case what you said should work.......

The whole "change your display settings in Windows" only works within Windows. Everything else....BIOS, Memtest, Boot ROMs, OS installations, etc, still defaults to a specific output port on the GPU. And that's what I need to change. And since the side monitors don't support DP, I can't just swap the cables around.

Unless the card can do DVI+DVI+HDMI simultanously, which I really doubt.
