Where to order from??

Thread Starter
I ordered most of my stuff for my build (http://www.overclock.net/t/1316717/ballnuts-project-information-overload-featuring-the-merlin-sm8#post_18377248) From Amazon, and will order the watercooling parts from performance-pc. However, I have delayed ordering the motherboard, since I want to get a newer stock model, and I'm not sure where the best place might be to order from. I'm getting the Rampage 4 Extreme. It's the same price everywhere, but I'm not sure if anyone knows where the best place would be to buy given the considerations I mentioned. It seems on Amazon, the reviews are very poor for this mobo, which makes me wonder if they got the first release, and haven't gotten any in since then. I am planning to buy from Newegg at the moment unless someone has a better suggestion.

I'd actually suggest you do get it from newegg smile.gif. But like me I face state taxes so I end up looking on Amazon or Tigerdirect. Though, newegg had the mobo I wanted so I got it from there redface.gif

Any reason you would suggest them over others?
Mainly because they have more up-to-date mobo's and customer service is great. Also, I was after a board made by Asrock and if I were to find it on other sites, they would have dated models or none at all. Plus they have reasonable reviews as to why I would order from them.

Also, if you're needing more watercooling parts, there's a discount code floating around here for frozencpu wink.gif

Sweet. Do you have any experience with Performance-PC.com? Their prices seem much better, plus can avoid tax.

Amazon and Newegg are the best. Frozencpu is also good for cooling parts

Amazon is much more generous with returns, so I get most everything there. If Newegg has a lower price just report it using the button on the Amazon product page, and often they'll end up lowering the price to match.

Actually I'm planning on buying Mayhem dye from them in the next few days, I just ordered a few things from Frozencpu.. also the discount for the 5.1% is "OCN" smile.gif. But scouting the forums and reading lots of stuff here, I've heard good thing from Performance-PC.com. You may also want to look at xiode and Jab-tech which are pretty well know here as well.

Performance-PC is awesome. They have a good selection, and they ship the same day that you order. I have ordered from most of the sites listed in this thread and I'd prefer to order through them if at all possible in most cases. thumb.gif
