Project "The Incredible Hulk" Farewell - Page 11

Here are some pictures with UV lightning.

Now once again the UV lights ARE PURPLE, but somehow they look blue.

I will try to take better pictures because these pictures are not doing any justice

This is my most fav. picture to be honest

Makes me wonder if I should switch back to white SMD leds or keep the UV lights.

I really like the build. Amazing how just a little figurine can provide so much uniqueness.

But clearly the best picture of the whole build log is......
Red Mickey Wagon! (Click to show)

Thanks cpachris. Thank you very much. Tomorrow I will be getting a white and a green led and try my build with them instead of the UV lights. I like the UV and how the cables look but I can't see Hulk very well nor the beautiful backplate and the midplate I have.

Thanks for the comments on the picture. Thats our living room and things on the table are some stuff that my wife does in her free time. And of course the soundcards is there too :)

I totally forgot about that ;)

Good one. I will do this.

I checked few posts back and saw pics of your tube. Love the blue.

However where did you order them? Do you remember?

Edit :

Am I going to be looking for something like that?

I added a very small White LED on the bottom of the motherboard which brings out the Midplate engraving

I will work on making it better and will try to come up with something similar for the GPU backplate engraving.

Let me find the link to where I bought mine, It is going to make it POP I promise biggrin.gif

--edit--

I bought THIS except it was normal blue not this light blue. Get a 8ft+ kit, because if you are like me, you are going to mess up a bunch of times cutting the tubes to the perfect length etc etc...biggrin.gif

Are you going to go UV purple or UV blue?

you can also get uv smd leds instead of the cathodes. you'll get more even lighting, you won't need the inverted boxes and those huge tubes are a bit ugly and the light is also agressive to the eyes. with smd leds you can also "direct" the light.
