I think better to get used 2600k for same price.

Anyone with a 3570K care to run those benches at 4.6Ghz over at [H] so we can compare?

I might just wait for steamroller, hopefully I don't have to replace my mobo... AMD is smart for keeping the same socket, I know a lot of people aren't happy with the current chipsets, but I'll be saving pretty much $200 by not having to replace the mobo. that's $$$ well spent on a new GPU.

Maybe it is not so bad deal sell 1090 for $100 and get 8350 for $200. It should work on 890 chipset, right?

If you decide to sell your 1090T for $100 give me a shout.

The prices look great I just hope that it will be an upgrade from my i5-2500, I don't know if I'll want to give up the option of getting an i7-3770 for a side-grade.

Your logical upgrade is a 3570. Why would you even consider going amd?

If an 8350 goes for <$200 and provides AT LEAST a 20% performance increase over my 1090T, I'll pre-order the darn thing.

It's been 3 years for god's sake, give me a viable upgrade option.
