That's awesome, except it's only 240W. My GPU takes that much LOL. Pretty cool though, nonetheless. One day we'll probably have a battery backup built into the PSU, that can power a PC for hours, or even days.

they have bigger ones, and IIRC it was a hundred bucks for the 240watt. There's a 500watt available for more as well.

Just plug the computer into a UPS. Seriously. Don't mean to be down on your idea, but you don't need a UPS inside your case. Batteries are big, and we're a decade away from them having enough charge density to make it possible to fit a battery into an ATX PSU while still having room for the PSU.

For me its "I build a computer as portable as a laptop, I want a battery inside it like a laptop." The 250w will work for me when I order it.
