My Temp for my board is 48C-50C. This seems very hot to me. Can anyone with the same board tell me their temps?

Cheers guys. Well my case has 2 intake fans at the front and 2 fans at the back blowing out. So I must admit I am a little anoyed that the MB is running as hot as it is. But pleased to see its stable on other machines.I do have a few ports under my Graphics card which are fitted in quite snug. Maybe this is restricting some air flow i dunno. I think I might take them out later today and see what happens. Maybe my GCard temp will drop a tiny bit too, althiugh I have seen that they can run hot.

Well I took out the firewire and 2 extra usb ports to free up two slots inbetween my soundcard and Gcard and by the looks of it it has reduced temps all round Only by 2-3C on my CPU, MB and 5C on my Gcard.

Guys if you have this board... have you seen this error....

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant. Please contact your system vendor or visit http://www.hardware-update.com for an updated BIOS. If you are unable to obtain an updated BIOS or the latest BIOS supplied by your vendor is not ACPI compliant, you can turn off ACPI mode during text mode setup. To do this, press the F7 key when you are prompted to install storage drivers. The system will not nitify that the F7 key was pressed - it will silently disable ACPI and allow you to continue your installation.

Technical Information:

***STOP: 0x000000A5 (0x00000002,0x85FE9238,0xE10199E8,0x85FE95E8)

I just built my new rig and I'm getting that. WHY!!! lol.... I don't know how to flash my bios... and Asus website doesn't give much help on how really...

Is it my SATA drives? what is aCPI anyways?

Help me out!!!

(I have a thread in AMD General named Infamous Blue Screen (new rig ) if you want to post there aswell!!! HELP!)

I havent had that problem and hope you sort it out mate. I dont know much about hardware im affraid but I have come across ACPI in the last few days which did get me worried. I ran SiSoftware Sandra 07 few days back and used the hardware tool. At the end of all the infomation about my board it gives a few lines of performance tips. Two of these tips came up as warnings. the first was about my memory saying that large memory modules should be registered/buffered memory. The second warning was No APIC detected for MP system.
