Trying to brush up a few more things before posting my official build log

Hey guys, my thread is currently hidden in the Caselabs forum, and I would like to get a little more advice and opinions on components before moving ahead with my official build log so I that I don't clutter up my post. Here is my thread,

http://www.overclock.net/t/1316717/ballnuts-project-information-overload-featuring-the-merlin-sm8

If you scroll down a bit, you can see my list of hardware with the color legend.

Beyond the comments and questions included in the hardware list, there are a couple more questions in my head about this build.
  • - OK, the Merlin SM8 is great, but I can pretty much do a monsta 240 and a 480 up top on a lot of other less impressive cases. Am I doing the SM8 a disservice by only using a 480 and a 240 (albeit a monsta?) And I calculated this out to be enough cooling for the TDP I plan on running with overclocks, but I'm wondering if those with experience can comment whether or not this is truly a good amount of radage, or just barely squeezing by...
  • - The GTX 670's 4GB. Did I make a poor choice here in terms of limiting myself? Obviously not with vram, but with speed? Am I going to be limited in games? Should I consider another option?
  • Pumps/ Pump Tops / Reservoir.... I don't even... any suggestions are appreciated. From what I can tell a D5 or 35X should run this system fine, but I'm a little worried about the motherboard block being the most restrictive point. Or if I need to run a bunch of 90's that I'm not aware of yet.
  • - On that note, are there better options for blocks? On a value vs performance basis (along with reliability) the XSPC blocks seem to do really great. Even though there are more expensive options, I don't really care to pay more than double for something that performs 1% better or less. e.g. that's why I didn't go with the 3960X.

Any help is MUCHHHH appreciated. Can't wait to get the build log up. I hereby swear that the build log will be finished in a timely manner (hopefully within a week or so- yes, I know, I am insane), and I will do my best to record everything so you can see. I'm really excited. I think I'll change the depressing name of 'information overload' to 'project N00b', since this will be my first ever WC build, and first serious attempt at a real build ever. (And I'm not really that good with electronics or computers).

Lets knock this out so I can get started!!!!

Bumping. Not getting many views for some reason, this seems like the right place to post this...
