Awesome!

On my MSI 512MB, my everyday stable overclock is 655MHz core clock / 1549MHz shader clock and 870MHz memory clock. It goes higher but it is nice and reliable like that. Since it is a 512MB card rather than 1GB like yours, you won't be able to get that high on the memory clock. It's sort of trade off between speed and capacity.

To start off with, try 600MHz core clock and 650MHz memory clock. I think that will be trouble free and a nice improvement. A note about memory clocks is that we are quoting the actual individual speed rather than the DDR3 speed which is twice that (so if spec sheet says 1200MHz effective memory speed, the actual reported in Afterburner is 600MHz).

Best of luck to you!

The Ati Radeon X850 XT PE? Only the best 9 year old graphics card there is! (It's for the current HWbot competition)
And then I actually use a Geforce 210 for day to day work lol. And then I use a Radeon HD 7970 for gaming, but that's a whole different deal.

Nice work! It's a real start. Thanks for posting your original clocks for reference, since the stock core was higher than average and the stock memory was lower. 550MHz may be a more realistic goal for the memory, although you'll probably be able to get higher on the core!

A useful / fun way to track your overclocking progress is to run a benchmark such as these after you adjust the speeds each time.

and if you really want to push your card, give 3DMark Vantage a shot!

Yep, aqua mark is always a good one to run.
.... that doesn't sound right at all. With the normal aquamark settings, I get in the range of 60 to 90 FPS. Press the reset or default button in Afterburner and see what you get in aquamark like that..

Ah yeah, that sounds about right then! Furmark isn't everything, don't give up on the Geforce 210 yet biggrin.gif
Furmark will be useful for telling you if the core clock is stable or not, but won't tell you much about the memory.
